    Connecting at the KCBI Breakfast

On November 13, we were delighted to sponsor the KCBI Business Networking Breakfast! 90.9 KCBI FM is a popular Christian radio station in Dallas/Fort Worth that has a great emphasis on serving and ministry. They organized this networking breakfast as an opportunity to fellowship and connect. About 100 business men and women gathered at the Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas.     Chris Kinsel, the Director of Business relations at KCBI, kicked off the event at 8:00. People were busily engaged in conversations, while enjoying their hearty breakfast. Matt Austin, the General Manager of KCBI, gave some opening remarks and led in prayer. The keynote speech was given…

    Walking For Freedom

On Saturday, October 20th, a walk against human trafficking took place all over the world. This annual “Walk For Freedom” was organized by the A21 Campaign, a nonprofit anti-trafficking organization. A21 was founded by Australian speaker and author, Christine Caine. About ten years ago, God called Christine to take action against modern day slavery and to bring awareness of this ongoing injustice. What is the A21 Campaign? “We are a nonprofit organization fueled by radical hope that human beings everywhere will be rescued from bondage and completely restored. We are the abolitionists of the 21st century. We work with you to free slaves and disrupt the demand.” www.a21.org The 2018…

    Together In Community

Our vision for the 2or3 app is to help bring Christians together in community. Through our group features, people are able to communicate with other like-minded believers and build authentic friendships. Recently we heard a testimony from one of the groups in 2or3 that they were able to meet up in person! They each traveled from their respective locations, some from different states, to meet in the Washington D.C. area for a group activity. Some group members had to take time off from work or from their busy schedule, but they made the gathering happen, and they enjoyed a great time together! Experiencing Christian community is what 2or3 is about.…

    A Chance To Change

A question was presented to me several months ago: “What if you were defined by your worst mistake?” My biggest mistake is a very long and boring story that I’ll spare you from. Yet I can’t help cringing at the thought of people knowing me by the intimate details of my failure. Today, that’s not who I am. The Lord didn’t forgive me because I was good enough for His mercy, but He gave it to me anyway. Shouldn’t we, forgiven sinners, have mercy on the men and women behind bars? If you’ve never gone to prison before, you might be shocked by what you’d find. I’ve seen the TV…

    Share Your 2or3 Testimony

At 2or3 we officially reached 50K users today, as a five-month old app. In the last few months, we’ve heard many wonderful stories about how our brothers and sisters in 2or3 have built community. They have supported each other through prayer and helped one another walk through difficult times. Do you or your friends have a 2or3 testimony you would like to share with us? If so, please share it in this group or in the comments section below, or you can email us at contact@2or3.io. Thank you!

    An Evening for Ladies

The Ladies First event, organized by 94.9 KLTY, was an encouraging evening just for ladies. The event included music, inspiring messages, and even goat yoga! (Yes, there is such a thing. It’s very healthy and entertaining.) 😊   The 2or3 team enjoyed meeting many of the ladies who attended. We shared about the app and even created a special group in the app for the event. Attendees who joined the Ladies First group could share their photos from the evening and continue to encourage one another after the event. Thank you to GracePoint Church in Coppell for hosting this memorable evening. We hope 94.9 KLTY will continue the fun again next…

Mission Arlington: Serving Here At Home

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” -Matthew 25:35-36 “…Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” -Matthew 25:40   What if we served here at home like we do on a mission trip? The founders of Mission Arlington asked that same question. They wanted to build…

    Faith, Food, and PAINT!

On May 14th the 2or3 team attended the final club meeting for the Oak Cliff division of Young Life, the well-known youth organization.   During the event, the students entered raffles, played games, and received a message from their leader. And there was paint and water balloons! The staff filled 200 water bottles with different color paints and 100 water balloons in preparation for the battle of ages. The students were divided in two teams of males versus females, which is always a set up for a battle. They armed themselves, and after the countdown, there was a loud “ Go!” For the next twenty minutes we watched students being…

    “Unafraid” Youth Worship Night

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. -1 John 4:18     Last week, the 2or3 team spent a special night with the Denton Wesley Foundation. This United Methodist Student Center is serving the University of North Texas, Texas Woman’s University, and North Central Texas College. As a loving and liberating community, the Denton Wesley Foundation believes in the power of love and service through Christ to transform the world.   Multiple youth groups joined the worship night, including Argyle United Methodist Church, Faith United Methodist Church,…
