“So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness…From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.” –John 1:14, 16 (NLT)
Jesus came to earth to save us, and He continually gives us blessing after blessing. We indeed have so much to be thankful for!
Last week we had fun in 2or3 focusing on what we are #ThankfulFor. Thank you to everyone who posted your photos and shared about what you are grateful for! It was a fun way to count our blessings and give God thanks.
Here is a short list of things that people shared they are #ThankfulFor:
God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit
Salvation in Jesus
Family, holidays with family
Spiritual family – brothers and sisters in Christ and church family
Friends – old and new
Life
God’s grace
God’s provision

Opportunities to serve
Wow, we are so blessed! Let’s continue thanking God every day for His many blessings, as the old hymn “Count Your Blessings” says…
“When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.
Count your blessings, name them one by one;
Count your blessings, see what God hath done;
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.
Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,
And you will be singing as the days go by.
Count your blessings, name them one by one;
Count your blessings, see what God hath done;
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.”
