“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” -Matthew 25:35-36
“…Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” -Matthew 25:40
What if we served here at home like we do on a mission trip? The founders of Mission Arlington asked that same question. They wanted to build a ministry to do just that.
Monday through Saturday, their doors are open from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm for anyone and everyone, either to give or to receive…whether that is:
- Home goods
- Doctor visits
- Dental appointments
- After School Programs
- Bible Studies
- Disaster relief
- Financial assistance
In 2017, Mission Arlington recorded 2,646 decisions for Christ through their ministry!
Our team had the pleasure of volunteering with Mission Arlington for a few hours, and the experience was truly incredible. People from different countries, languages, and backgrounds came in while we were there. Some came to volunteer their time, while others donated furnit
ure and clothing. Some people came seeking assistance, and there were given as much as they could carry.
Matthew 10:8b says, “Freely you have received; freely give.” Mission Arlington has adopted this mindset exceptionally! Their food pantry was stocked to the ceiling, and as they liberally handed out food, more would come in.
We invite you to:
